Traditionally originating from the Fujian Province of China, First Ceylon Oolong is the first Oolong to be produced in Ceylon (Sri Lanka). Distinctive in leaf, aroma and liquor, Ceylon Oolong is a Single Estate Tea from the Galle District.
The clean and wiry OP style leaf exhibits some tip and green leaf which yields an olive green infusion with hints of brown. The dry leaf unfurls when infused, producing a subtle and sophisticated brew. The liquor is bright and golden with a rounded, herbal aroma. This is a distinctive and special Oolong, refreshingly delicate, with an enticing fragrance and a touch of fruit in its finish.
